Job Description
Candidate will be responsible for:- 

# Conducting Prior Art Searches, i.e.: 

• To do research on a identified new idea. 
• To understand the idea or research given to the company by the client.
• To search the databases, internet, and other secondary sources to scan for information related to the technology and to look for the existence of similar concepts.

# Conducting Patentability assessment i.e. 

• Patentability refers to the substantive conditions that must be met for a patent to be held valid.
• It analyses the validity of idea being patented.

# Conducting Patent Landscape Mapping i.e.

• It is a tool to analyze existing IP to determine the risks and opportunities of participating in a given idea or research. 

# Conducting Infringement analysis i.e.

• It is defined as whoever without authority makes, uses, or sells any patented invention during the term of the patent therefore, infringes the patent.
• Thus in order to avoid legal suits the company needs to analyze whether they are infringing any existing patent or not.
• In case of any legal suits appearing for such issues, patent team needs to do extensive research to prove the validity of our patent.
  

Desired Candidate Profile
Candidate must be:- 

# B.Tech & M.Tech. (Bio- Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical) from NIT, REC, IIT. 

# M. Tech. would be preferred.

# Must have 70% above throughout. 

# Candidate must be currently working in pharmaceutical company.

# Candidate must be working in IPR department of pharmaceutical company.

# Candidate must have 2 years of experience in Intellectual Property Rights i.e Patents field.
