CCDM Certification : Data management plans

As a CCDM aspirant you should have good understanding of DMP or Data Management Plan. This includes understanding of the contents of the plan, ability to build a new plan based on a study protocol and most importantly team work in building it in collaboration with specialists in biostats and clinical etc.,

Within the plan document you should be able to define the Processes related to flow of CRF and data clarification forms.

You should be comfortable in working with external data sources and different data formats and sources.

As a skilled data manager you should be able to identify problems and be able to resolve and proactively address the problem areas.

The critical aspect of data quality and steps taken to ensure quality, procedures established to track and reconcile data issues have to be thoroughly understood.

You should be conversant with the standards and SOPs used in development and management of DMPs.
